We have found a solution to effectively solve the problem of porosity defects in traditional aluminum castings--our patented squeeze casting process.
CEX started to research and develop the squeeze casting process in 2015. As a China professional squeeze casting manufacturer, we own one squeeze casting manufacturing base with the patented squeeze casting process and equipment.
Our aluminum squeeze casting parts can eliminate defects such as internal porosity and shrinkage and have a dense internal organization.
Squeeze casting is a more advanced process than conventional aluminum casting methods.
The squeeze casting process can eliminate defects that exist in the traditional casting processes such as porosity and shrinkage, and the internal structure of the casting is more dense. Heat treatment and welding are acceptable.
Better Mechanical Properties: the strength of the heat-treated squeeze castings is significantly higher and can reach strengths close to those of forged aluminum parts.
Better Sealing Performance: because the presence of pores is eliminated, the surface of the squeeze castings can be machined to a very high finish, free of pore defects, thus ensuring excellent sealing performance without causing leaks.
Can Be Welded: conventional aluminum castings often contain microscopic pores and voids within the material. These porosities can act as potential weak points and will lead to defects and reduce welding integrity. Squeeze casting parts without internal porosity can avoid these problems.
